Decision-Making: Part 2

Future Decision-Making

Making mistakes and growing from them are all natural parts of life. No one is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. As you practice making GREAT decisions, the process will become easier, but it’s important to remember that you don’t have to do it all alone. In addition to avoiding situations, barriers, or individuals that may tempt you to make poor decisions, you can also rely on the resources in your life for help.

Everyone you know has asked for help at some point in time. If you’re struggling to make good decisions or recover from a poor decision, it is smart to reach out for assistance. Depending upon the situation, a good friend might be able to provide some insight. However, don’t be afraid to turn to a trusted adult, such as a relative or teacher. These people have all made mistakes during their own lives, and they will understand. They will not blame you or look down upon you; instead, they will work to help you fix the situation and make sure you are healthy and happy.
