Think about a time when you had a perfect plan that was suddenly derailed at the last minute. How did it make you feel? How did you respond to this challenge? How did you overcome it? Sometimes life has surprise barriers along the way that force us to confront the unexpected. The way that we can overcome these moments is by being prepared with a plan.
What do you do when life surprises you? How do you maintain control when a situation seems out of your hands? What can you do to make good decisions in these stressful situations?
Today’s lesson objective is: Students will discuss barriers to making healthy decisions and develop an action plan that outlines what to do when a wrong decision is made.
