Fortunately, we can always work to improve the self-esteem of ourselves and others, and we can begin now. The following things can positively affect self-esteem and make us feel better about ourselves: family, confidence, achieving goals, compliments, independence, power, love, safety, and talent.
We are all unique and have our own strengths. Maybe you’re good at painting, dancing, writing, sports, or something else! You should be proud of that every single day! You are wonderful just the way you are, and you deserve to feel happy, loved, safe, and confident!
It’s okay if you’re still learning to appreciate yourself. Many of us are; don’t feel bad about that. Instead, here are some steps you can take in order to build up your self-esteem and confidence:
