Healthy Boundaries and Refusal Skills: Part 1

Have you ever watched a crime scene investigation show or movie? The police usually use some type of caution tape to keep the general public away from the incident. This is law enforcement’s way of identifying a potentially harmful situation and setting a boundary so others can avoid it. People can also set boundaries in their own lives to help them navigate and negotiate an uneasy situation.

Today’s lesson objective is: Students will identify potentially harmful situations and discuss effective ways to negotiate and collaborate on ways to avoid them.
